Being Human (British TV Series)
''Being Human'' is a British Supernatural fiction, supernatural comedy-drama television show, television series created and written by Toby Whithouse and broadcast on BBC Three. The show blends elements of Roommate, flatshare comedy and horror drama. The Pilot (Being Human), pilot episode starred Andrea Riseborough as Annie Sawyer (a ghost), Russell Tovey as George Sands (a werewolf), and Guy Flanagan as John Mitchell (Being Human), John Mitchell (a vampire) – all of whom are sharing accommodation and attempting as well as they can to live a "normal" life and blend in with the ordinary humans around them, striving to fit in more. Two of the main cast were replaced in the series by Aidan Turner (Mitchell) and Lenora Crichlow (Annie). Russell Tovey was the only original main cast member. Horror Fiction
Horror is a genre of fiction which is intended to frighten, scare, or disgust. Horror is often divided into the sub-genres of psychological horror and supernatural horror, which is in the realm of speculative fiction. Literary historian J. A. George Sands
George Sands is a fictional werewolf in the comedy-drama television series ''Being Human'', portrayed by Russell Tovey. The male lead for the duration of the show's first three series appeared in 24 episodes of the drama, as well as in three Being Human novels. Television series Prequel In the prequel’s narrative George is on holiday in Scotland with his fiancé Julia. One day George decides to go for a walk, while Julia stays at the hotel. Annie Sawyer
Anna Clare "Annie" Sawyer is a fictional character in the comedy-drama television series '' Being Human'', portrayed by Lenora Crichlow. The female lead for the duration of the show's first four series, Crichlow appears as Annie in thirty-one episodes altogether, more than any other character in the series. She also appeared in three Being Human novels. Within the series narrative, Annie is a ghost haunting the house she lived in with her fiancé whilst she was alive. Andrea Louise Riseborough (born 20 November 1981) is an English actress and producer. Pilot (Being Human)
The pilot episode of the BBC fantasy television show '' Being Human'' aired on BBC Three on 18 February 2008. As with all episodes of the first and second series of ''Being Human'', this episode was not provided with a name when broadcast. Synopsis Cold open Night scenes of a young man (Mitchell) alone with a young woman (Lauren) are intercut with parallel night scenes of a different, haunted-looking young man (George) walking alone through the woods. A roommate is a person with whom one shares a living facility such as a room or dormitory ''except'' when being family or romantically involved. ''Being Human'' is a supernatural drama television series, based on the BBC series of the same name. It followed the same premise as the original, and starred Sam Huntington, Sam Witwer and Meaghan Rath as a werewolf, a vampire, and a ghost, respectively, who live together as roommates. The show aired its first episode on January 17, 2011. It came to a close on April 7, 2014. Plot Three roommates seemingly in their twenties each try to keep a secret from the rest of the world. ''Becoming Human'' is a British supernatural comedy-drama webisode series and a spin-off from the TV series '' Being Human''.
