The Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (北京2022年冬奥会和冬残奥会组织委员会) (BOCWOG) was a public institution with legal person status, responsible for the organisation and coordination of all the preparations and delivery of the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. It was located at the former steel plant of Shougang Corporation in Shijingshan District, Beijing. The executive board of the Beijing 2022 was its sole executive agency. Chen Jining (; born 4 February 1964) is a Chinese academic and politician who is a member of the Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party and the current Communist Party secretary of Shanghai. The China Disabled Persons' Federation, also known as the CDPF, is a people's organization for individuals with disability in China established in Beijing, China in March 1988, aiming to represent and safeguard the rights and interests of disabled people. The predecessors of the CDPF are the China Association for the Blind and Deaf, established in 1960 and the China Welfare Fund for the Handicapped established in 1984. The three basic functions of the CDPF are to represent the interests of people with disabilities in China and help protect their legitimate rights, to provide them with comprehensive and effective services and to supervise affairs relating to people with disabilities commissioned by the Chinese government. Zhang Haidi (; born September 1955) is a Chinese writer, translator, inspirational speaker, and chairwoman of China Administration of Sports for Persons with Disabilities (CASPD); the national paralympic committee of China. A paraplegic since early childhood, she has been called the Helen Keller and Pavel Korchagin of China. Shijingshan District () is an urban district of the municipality of Beijing. It lies to the west of the urban core of Beijing, and is part of the Western Hills area, bordering the districts of Haidian to the northeast and east, Fengtai to the south, and Mentougou to the west.
