Beijing Institute of Technology Football Club (Simplified Chinese: 北京理工大学足球俱乐部) or simply BIT is a professional China, Chinese Association football, football club that currently participates in the China League One division under licence from the Chinese Football Association (CFA). The team is based in Haidian District, Haidian, Beijing and their home stadium is the 5,000 capacity Beijing Institute of Technology Eastern Athletic Field, BIT Eastern Athletic Field. Their current majority shareholders are Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) and Joan Oliver, who acquired a 29% stake on 5 December 2016. Raphael Guillermo Eduardo Maitimo (born 17 March 1984) is a former footballer who last played for Liga 1 club Barito Putera as a central midfielder, attacking midfielder or centre-forward. The 2011 China League One is the eighth season of the China League One, the second tier of the Chinese football league pyramid, since its establishment. It began on 26 March 2011 and ended in October 2011. The size of the league expanded from 13 to 14 teams for this season. Teams Promotion and relegation Guangzhou Evergrande as champions of the 2010 season and Chengdu Blades as runners-up were promoted to the 2011 Chinese Super League. They were replaced by Chongqing Lifan and Changsha Ginde (Now named Shenzhen Phoenix), who were relegated from the 2010 Chinese Super League after finishing the season in the bottom two places of the table. Cao Xiandong (Chinese:曹限东 born 19 August 1968) is a Chinese football coach and a former international midfielder. In his career, he represented Beijing Guoan where he won two Chinese FA Cups along with Qingdao Etsong Hainiu and Beijing Kuanli. Teams After 2009 season, Liaoning Whowin and Nanchang Bayi Hengyuan were promoted to Chinese Super League 2010 and Sichuan F.C. were relegated to China League Two 2010.
