Beijing BJ40
The Beijing BJ40 is an off-road vehicle produced by BAIC Motor. Originally branded directly as a BAIC product, the vehicle series was rebadged under the Beijing brand after the brand was introduced in 2019. Overview The BJ40 is divided into four trim levels, the BJ40 S (Super), BJ40 P (Professional), BJ40 C (City) and BJ40 SE (Special Edition). They were designated for different target consumer groups. BAIC BJ40 The BAIC B40/BJ40 originally debuted as a concept during the 2010 Beijing Auto Show, and it is controversial as it resembles the iconic Jeep Wrangler styling wise. BAIC Motor Corporation Limited is a Chinese automaker headquartered in Beijing. The H shares (foreigner share in offshore market) of the company were traded in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The Chinese Beijing Automobile Works, formerly Beijing Jeep, BJ212 (Chinese: 北京212) and BAW BJ2020 is a Land Rover and Jeep inspired four-wheel drive, originally a 2.4 L (2445 cc) four-cylinder gas-engine powered (four-cylinder diesel engines were added in the 2000s) light-duty offroad utility vehicle in the half tonne class. The original design, depending in large part on Russian off-roaders from UAZ and possibly developed in conjunction with the UAZ-469, debuted in 1965 as the Beijing BJ212. It has been known as the BJ2020 series since the Chinese car classification system was changed in 1989. BJ2022
The Beijing BJ2022 is a 1/2 or 3/4 ton 4×4 utility vehicle developed by BAW, Beijing Automobile Works and used by the People's Liberation Army, PLA. The BJ2022 has been in production since 2005. It's also referred as "Yongshi" or Brave Warrior. It was jointly developed by Beijing Auto Works and Chrysler. History The vehicle entered PLA service in August 2007. Design and development Initial bid for a successor vehicle to the BJ2020S were made in 1999. A concept vehicle was revealed in 2002. A couple of prototypes were made specially for the Chinese army.
