Behzad Nabavi
Behzad Nabavi ( fa, بهزاد نبوی) (born 1941) is an Iranian reformist politician. He served as Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Iran and was one of the founders of the reformist party Mojahedin of the Islamic Revolution Organization. Prior to his career as a democratic reformist, Nabavi was considered an ideologue of the Iranian Islamic left until that force was sidelined by conservatives in the 1990s. Early life Nabavi was born in Tehran in 1941. His father was a historian, He graduated from Amir Kabir University of Technology with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in the mid-1960s. He received a master's degree in electrical engineering in 1964. Mahmoud Behzad
Professor Mahmoud Behzad ( fa, محمود بهزاد, b. 1913 - d. 2007), born in Rasht, the capital city of Gilan province, is known as the father of modern biology in Iran. He wrote more than 100 books in Persian and participated in the authorship of more than 200 books in Iran. The son of a lapidarist, Behzad completed his initial education in Rasht before pursuing his bachelor's degree at the teachers' training college (''Dāneshsarāy-e 'Āli'') in Tehran. He was the founder oIran Scholarly Books Editing Organizationand was fluent in English, French and German. Behzad was known for the books of French science writer Jean Rostand and English naturalist Charles Darwin that he translated. Kamāl Ud-Dīn Behzād
Kamāl ud-Dīn Behzād (c. 1455/60 – 1535), also known as Kamal al-din Bihzad or Kamaleddin Behzād ( fa, کمال‌الدین بهزاد), was a Persian painter and head of the Persian miniature#Artists and technique, royal ateliers in Herat and Tabriz during the late Timurid dynasty, Timurid and early Safavid Iran, Persian periods. He is regarded as marking the highpoint of the great tradition of Islamic miniature painting. He was very prominent in his role as a director of a workshop in the Herat Academy as well as his position in the Royal Library in the city of Herat. His art is unique in that it includes the common geometric attributes of Persian painting, while also inserting his own style, such as vast empty spaces to which the subject of the painting dances around. Hossein Behzad
Hossein Behzad (1894 – 13 October 1968) (حسین بهزاد) was a prominent Iranian painter. His early work was in the styles of the old masters of Persian painting of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, hoping to save Persian miniature, Persian miniature painting from oblivion. Biography Born in Shiraz, Iran in 1894 to Mirza Lotfollah Esfahani. His father was a pen-holder designer. He married Azizeh Khanam in 1921, who gave birth to their only child, Parviz. During the early 1930s, Behzad reorganized Tehran's Madrasa-I Sanayi-I Mustazrafa. In 1934 he left Tehran for Paris and stayed for thirteen months. During this time which time he studied various Eastern and Western painting styles at the Louvre, Guimet Museum, Guimet museum and Palace of Versailles. Behzad Razavi ( fa, بهزاد رضوی) is an Iranian-American professor and researcher of electrical and electronic engineering. Noted for his research in communications circuitry, Razavi is the director of the Communication Circuits Laboratory at the University of California Los Angeles. He is a Fellow and a distinguished lecturer for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Among his awards, Razavi is a two-time recipient of the Beatrice Winner Award for Editorial Excellence at the 1994 and 2001 International Solid-State Circuits Conferences.
