Behind Silk Curtains
''Behind Silk Curtains'' is a 1988 Hong Kong grand production serial drama produced by TVB featuring an ensemble cast from the TV station including veteran actors Adam Cheng, Liza Wang, Ray Lui and future award-winning cinematic stars Tony Leung Chiu-Wai and Stephen Chow. Plot Wealthy businessman Ling Hin-kwong's (Peter Yang) "Tai Fook Company" is in the verge of collapse and his daughter Ling Ka-man ( Liza Wang) persuades him to let Cheng Sai-cheung ( Adam Cheng), chairman of the People's Bank, to join the shares. Kwong thinks Man is to ambitious and cannot trust her, so he finds a solution with his son Ling Ka-yip (Tony Leung Chiu-Wai), who recently returned from the United States. Evergreen Mak Cheung-ching
Evergreen Mak Cheung-ching (, born 18 December 1968), better known as Makbau (麥包), is a Hong Kong actor. He had been an actor with TVB for more than 30 years. Early life Mak was born in Shunde District, Foshan, China, and his ancestral hometown is Qingyuan, Guangdong province. Career Mak was praised for his portrayal of the main antagonist, Leung Fei-fan (Fei Fan Gor), in the 2010 TVB drama ''No Regrets'', for which he won the TVB Anniversary Award for Best Supporting Actor. Kwan Hoi-san
Herman Kwan Hoi-San () (born Kwan Ming-kok; October 23, 1925 – September 11, 2006) was a Hong Kong actor. His English name was Herman Kwan. Kwan started off as a Cantonese opera actor in street theatre before joining New Voice Opera Troupe (新聲劇團). He also started singing for early Hong Kong film soundtracks and moved on to act in films, mostly adaption of opera in Cantonese. He became famous and acted in many lead roles. When Hong Kong films started to move towards Mandarin, Kwan's career faltered and joined TVB and acted in various roles. Eddy Ko
Eddy Ko Hung (; born Ho Yiu-sum ; 1947) is a Hong Kong television and film actor who has worked on the TV stations RTV, ATV (both now defunct), and TVB. Dick Liu Kai-chi (, 30 September 1953 – 28 March 2021) was a Hong Kong actor, best known for his everyman supporting roles. His career spanned over 40 years, with appearances in over 90 television series and 70 films.
