Begoña Errazti
Begoña Errazti (born 22 August 1957) is a Spanish politician. She is a leading member of the Basque Solidarity (''Eusko Alkartasuna'') party, which is associated with Basque nationalism and Social democratic policies. In 2007 she resigned as the party's president. Life Early years Begoña Errazti has a degree in Geography and Contemporary History. She also holds a master's degree in Business Management. She has worked as a director with the Taller Río Arga schools workshop, a European project for training young people on river and riverbank management, along with various related specialities. She is a university level of history and Basque studies, and Professor of Basque studies at the University of Deusto. She was also a manager of the Federation of Ikastolas (Basque schools) for Navarre. Barakaldo
Barakaldo ( es, Baracaldo; eu, Barakaldo ) is a municipality located in the Biscay province in the Basque Country. Located on the Left Bank of the Estuary of Bilbao, the city is part of Greater Bilbao, has a population at 100,881. Barakaldo has an industrial river-port heritage and has undergone significant redevelopment with new commercial and residential areas replacing the once active industrial zones. Abertzale left ( eu, Ezker abertzalea, es, Izquierda abertzale; ) is a term used to refer to the parties or organizations of the Basque nationalist/separatist left, stretching from democratic socialism to communism. This leftist character is highlighted in contrast to the traditional '' jeltzale'' nationalism represented by the Basque Nationalist Party (EAJ-PNV), a conservative and Christian-democratic party, which has long been the largest in the Basque Country. Eusko Alkartasuna Party Politicians
The eusko is a local currency released by the "Eusko Moneta erakundea", and it is one of a number of currencies that are active in the Basque Country. It is mainly used in the Northern Basque Country, France. The currency was created on the 31st of January 2013. Features The smallest value of the eusko is the one eusko format, so it can not be separated in less than that amount. The eusko has a value that is equal to the euro, so the price of an article can be totally paid in euskos, but if the article doesn't have a round price, the difference will be paid in cents. Íñigo Urkullu Renteria (born 18 September 1961) is a Spanish politician, and the Lehendakari (President) of the Basque Government since 2012. As the President of the Basque Government, he headed the First, Second and Third Urkullu Governments of the Basque Autonomous Community (Spain). Biography Urkullu graduated in teaching, specialized in Basque language, from the University of Deusto. He was a secondary school teacher at Asti-Leku Ikastola school.
