Beginner (album)
''Beginner'' () is the seventh album by Chinese singer-songwriter Joker Xue. It was released on July 18, 2016, by Ocean Butterflies and later acquired by Xue's own label Chaoshi Music. Background The album was released in CD and LP formats. Of the ten tracks on the album, Xue composed music for seven and wrote lyrics for eight tracks. He also served as one of the album producers. The album includes the six songs from the ''Gentleman'' and ''Half'', both were well-received. "Beginner" symbolizes Xue's determination to return to music after detouring to hotpot restaurant, streetwear store, and variety show star in order to fund his music. Written and composed by Xue, It incorporates strong rock and high drama elements that work well with lyrical imagery to steadily build the song up. Joker Xue
Joker Xue (, born 17 July 1983) is a Chinese singer-songwriter and record producer. Formerly known as Jacky Xue, Xue is known for his hit songs and stage charisma with his signature musical style. Since his 2006 debut, Xue has produced a string of hits detailing love's triumphs and woes. His musical style melds the classic pop pairing of piano and strings with folk-tinged acoustic guitar and R&B beats. He is among the most-streamed Mandopop artists on Spotify. I Think I've Seen You Somewhere Tour
The I Think I've Seen You Somewhere Tour is the first concert tour by Chinese singer-songwriter Joker Xue. The tour kicked off at Dalian Sports Center on April 22, 2017, and concluded at Chongqing International Expo Center on July 22, 2017. Background On April 6, 2017, at the tour announcement press conference, Xue shared his interpretation of concert (演唱会): 演 means acting, 唱 means singing, and 会 means meeting; the concert will incorporate all three elements to create "an unique music story." Concert Synposis Nearly a decade after Xue's last concert, he returned with I Think I've Seen You Somewhere tour, named after the song off of the album ''Beginner'' and served as the concept for the tour.
