"Before They Make Me Run" is a song by English rock music, rock band the Rolling Stones, featured on their 1978 album ''Some Girls''. Written by guitarist Keith Richards, the song is a response to his arrest for heroin possession in Toronto in February 1977. The criminal charges and prospect of a prison sentence loomed over the ''Some Girls'' recording sessions and endangered the future of the Rolling Stones. In the lyrics, Richards reflects unapologetically on his lifestyle up to that point. Ronnie Wood
Ronald David Wood (born 1 June 1947) is an English rock musician, best known as an official member of the Rolling Stones since 1975, as well as a member of Faces and the Jeff Beck Group. Wood began his career in 1964, playing guitar with a number of British rhythm and blues bands in short succession, including the Birds and the Creation. He joined the Jeff Beck Group in 1967 as a guitarist and bassist. Their two albums, ''Truth'' and '' Beck-Ola'', are both highly praised. The group split in 1969 and Wood departed along with lead vocalist Rod Stewart to join former Small Faces members Ronnie Lane, Ian McLagan, and Kenney Jones in a new group named Faces with Wood now primarily on lead guitar. ''Havana Moon'' is a 1983 album by Carlos Santana released as a solo project. It features covers of Bo Diddley and Chuck Berry songs and performances by Booker T & the MGs, Willie Nelson and the Fabulous Thunderbirds, and also Carlos' father Jose singing "Vereda Tropical", a song Carlos had first heard when his father was serenading his mother following an argument. Reception J. D. Considine of ''Rolling Stone'' deemed Carlos Santana recording Tex-Mex music to be a natural fit, and felt that the Fabulous Thunderbirds were ideal collaborators for such a project. ''Hyde Park Live'' is a live album by the Rolling Stones, released in 2013. It was recorded at Hyde Park, London on 6 and 13 July 2013 during the band's 50 and Counting Tour. The album was released exclusively as a digital download through iTunes on 22 July 2013 for a limited time of four weeks. The album debuted at #16 in the UK and #19 in the US. ''Main Offender'' is the second studio album by Keith Richards, released in 1992 between the Rolling Stones' '' Steel Wheels'' and ''Voodoo Lounge'' projects. Richards teamed with '' Talk Is Cheap'' collaborator Steve Jordan and added Waddy Wachtel to the mix both in composing and producing ''Main Offender''. Sessions with Richards' group of musician friends known as "The X-Pensive Winos" took place in California and New York City from March to September 1992, with touring in Europe's autumn and early 1993 in North America. ''Main Offender'' was released in October 1992 to generally positive reviews. However, it failed to match the commercial success of ''Talk Is Cheap'', reaching No. 45 in the UK, and No. 99 in the US. "Happy" is the tenth track on the Rolling Stones' 1972 album ''Exile on Main St.'' and features Keith Richards on lead vocals. Released as the second single from the album in July 1972, "Happy" entered the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 at No. 69 on 15 July 1972 and reached No. 22 on 19 August 1972. Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle Tour
The Rolling Stones' Steel Wheels Tour was a concert tour which was launched in North America in August 1989 to promote the band's album '' Steel Wheels''; it continued to Japan in February 1990, with ten shows at the Tokyo Dome. The European leg of the tour, which featured a different stage and logo, was called the Urban Jungle Tour; it ran from May to August 1990. These would be the last live concerts for the band with original member Bill Wyman on bass guitar. The New Barbarians (band)
The New Barbarians, known as The Barbarians, were an English rock band that played two concerts in Canada and eighteen shows across the United States in April and May 1979. In August 1979, the band also supported Led Zeppelin at the Knebworth Festival 1979. The group was formed and led by Rolling Stones and Faces guitarist Ronnie Wood, primarily to promote his latest LP '' Gimme Some Neck''. The line-up included Rolling Stones member Keith Richards, bassist Stanley Clarke, former Faces keyboardist Ian McLagan, Rolling Stones confederate and saxophonist Bobby Keys and drumme Zigaboo Modeliste of The Meters.
