''Before the Impact'', or simply ''BTI'', is a professional wrestling streaming television produced by the American promotion Impact Wrestling that premiered on February 16, 2021 on AXS TV in the United States, owned by parent company Anthem Sports & Entertainment. The show currently airs on Impact's streaming service, Impact Plus, as well as the promotion's YouTube channel and Facebook page. ''BTI'' is a pre-show airing before the weekly broadcast of the promotion's flagship show, '' Impact!'', that features recaps, previews, and an exclusive match. Professional wrestling is a form of theater that revolves around staged wrestling matches. The mock combat is performed in a ring similar to the kind used in boxing, and the dramatic aspects of pro wrestling may be performed both in the ring or—as in televised wrestling shows—in backstage areas of the venue, in similar form to reality television. Feud (professional Wrestling)
In professional wrestling, a feud is a staged rivalry between multiple wrestlers or groups of wrestlers. They are integrated into ongoing storylines, particularly in events which are televised. Feuds may last for months or even years or be resolved with implausible speed, perhaps during a single match. WWE's terminology discouraged the use of the term along with the word "war". The Impact X Division Championship is a professional wrestling championship created and promoted by Impact Wrestling. It debuted on June 19, 2002, at the taping of then-TNA's second weekly pay-per-view (PPV) event. The current champion is Trey Miguel, who is in his second reign.
