The beers of the Caribbean are unique to each island in the region, although many are variants of the same style. Barbados
Barbados is an island country in the Lesser Antilles of the West Indies, in the Caribbean region of the Americas, and the most easterly of the Caribbean Islands. Kubuli is a golden lager brewed in Dominica, where it is the unofficial national beer. The beer's name is derived from the Island Caribs name for the island, ''Wai‘tu kubuli'', which means "Tall is her body." The water used to make Kubuli comes from Dominica's own Loubière Springs. Speightstown (), also known as ''Little Bristol'', is the second largest City centre of Barbados. It is situated north of the capital city of Bridgetown, in the northern parish of Saint Peter. Banks DIH Ltd. is a publicly traded food and beverage manufacturer in Guyana that can trace its origins back to 1840. It is one of the leading local manufacturers. History The company originates from a rum business founded in the 1840s by Jose Gomes D'Aguiar, which expanded into a chain of liquor stores.
