Bee (EP)
''Bee'' (2003) is an EP released by Tracy Bonham. The EP was recorded after performing on Blue Man Group's album '' The Complex'' and was only available to her fans while on tour. In 2005, ''Bee'' was re-issued as a CD/DVD in Europe titled ''Something Beautiful''. The EP features a cover of the Led Zeppelin song " Black Dog", with the lead guitar line played instead on an electric violin. Tracy Bonham
Tracy Bonham (born March 16, 1967) is an American alternative rock musician, best known for her 1996 single "Mother Mother". Raised in Eugene, Oregon, Bonham is a classically trained violinist and pianist, and is also a self-taught guitarist. She received two Grammy nominations in 1997 for Best Alternative Album and Best Female Rock Vocal Performance. She also appeared with The Blue Man Group on the Complex Rock Tour Live DVD and tour. Biography Life and early music career Born in Boston, Massachusetts, and raised in Eugene, Oregon, Bonham began singing at age five and playing the violin at nine. ''Down Here'' is the second album by American singer-songwriter Tracy Bonham, released on April 18, 2000, through Island Records. The album was recorded between March 1998 and December 1999 by Bonham and producers Mitchell Froom, Tchad Blake, Mark Endert and Don Gilmore. The album was supposed to be released in October 1998 under the title ''Trail of a Dust Devil'', but was delayed until the spring of 2000, as Island was going through a major restructuring. ''Down Here'' received generally positive reviews from critics. However, the album struggled to find an audience in a musical climate dominated by nu metal, and it experienced virtually no radio airplay. Blue Man Group is an American performance art company formed in 1987. It is known for its stage productions that incorporate many kinds of music and art, both popular and obscure. Its performers, known as Blue Men, have their skin painted blue. They are mute during shows and always appear in groups of three. "Something Beautiful" is a song co-written by English musicians Guy Chambers and Robbie Williams. Originally offered to Welsh singer Tom Jones, it was released as the third single from Williams' fifth studio album, '' Escapology'' (2002). The track was issued in Japan on 21 May 2003 and in Europe two months later, in July. Robert Plant
Robert Anthony Plant (born 20 August 1948) is an English singer and songwriter, best known as the lead singer and lyricist of the English rock band Led Zeppelin for all of its existence from 1968 until 1980, when the band broke up following the death of John Bonham, the band's drummer.
