Andrew Colin Beck (born 23 May 1986) is an American artist and musician. He was an early member of Imagine Dragons, currently a member of the Mellons, and also maintains a career as an illustrator. David Daniel Beck (June 16, 1894December 26, 1993) was an American labor leader, and president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters from 1952 to 1957. Corey Laveon Beck (born May 27, 1971) is a retired American basketball player. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, he played collegiately for the University of Arkansas and was a major part of the mid 1990s Razorback teams that won one national championship in 1994 and reached the championship game the following year. He played for the Charlotte Hornets (1995–96, 1997–98, 1998–99) and Detroit Pistons (1998–99) in the NBA for 88 games. Claude Schaeffer Beck (November 8, 1894 – October 14, 1971) was a pioneer cardiac surgeon, famous for innovating various cardiac surgery techniques, and performing the first defibrillation in 1947. He was the first American professor of cardiovascular surgery, from 1952 through 1965. He was a nominee for the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1952. Charles Lloyd Beck (born June 27, 1953) is a retired police officer, formerly serving as the Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and subsequently as the Superintendent of the Chicago Police Department.
