Warren Bebbington
Warren Arthur Bebbington (born 25 April 1952) was the 20th Vice Chancellor of the University of Adelaide. He was previously the Deputy Vice Chancellor (University Affairs) at the University of Melbourne. He commenced his position at the University of Adelaide in July 2012, and retired in April 2017. Career Bebbington is a Fulbright Scholar, and holds master's degrees in arts, music and philosophy and a PhD. He studied at the University of Melbourne and at Queens College, Columbia University, and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. Keith Bebbington
Keith Richard Bebbington (born 4 August 1943) is an English former footballer who played in the Football League for Oldham Athletic, Rochdale and Stoke City. Career Bebbington was a quick left winger who came through the youth team at Stoke City. He made his debut against Luton Town in September 1962. He had a good debut season with Stoke as in 1962–63 they won the Second Division title. In 1963–64 Stoke made it to the 1964 Football League Cup Final against Leicester City, Bebbington scoring the first goal of a two legged tie becoming Stoke's first cup final goalscorer, Stoke however lost 4–3 on aggregate. In the 1965–66 season the substitute was introduced and Bebbington was Stoke's first sub replacing Dennis Viollet on the opening day away at Arsenal. He spent two more seasons at the Victoria Ground and after making 124 appearances, scoring 22 goals he left for Oldham Athletic. Mark Bebbington (born 17 January 1972) is a British concert pianist. He is a notable advocate of British music. Biography Mark Bebbington studied at the Royal College of Music with Kendall Taylor and Phyllis Sellick and later in Italy with Aldo Ciccolini. As an advocate of British music, he has given premieres in concert and on CD of major works by Vaughan-Williams, Arthur Bliss, William Mathias, Ivor Gurney and John Ireland. Mark has recorded widely for Somm label, including complete cycles of Frank Bridge and John Ireland; both of these cycles, consisting of seven CDs, have received consecutive sets of five-star reviews in BBC Music Magazine. He has also recorded works by Francis Poulenc on the Resonus Classics label, earning a Gramophone Magazine ‘Editor’s Choice’. William Bebbington
William Bebbington (19 October 1856 – 31 July 1939) was a cheese maker and member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly. Biography Bebbington was born at Baschurch, Salop, England, to Thomas Bebbington and his wife Martha. He worked as a clerk for the Midland Railway before arriving in Australia and settling in Toowoomba. He started a cheese factory in the town and eventually became the President of the Queensland Cheese Manufacturers' Association.
