Beaver Area School District is a suburban, public school district in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. The district encompasses approximately serving the Boroughs of Beaver and Bridgewater and Brighton Township and Vanport Township in Beaver County, Pennsylvania and Monaca, Pennsylvania. The district serves a resident population of 1,972 people. Beaver is a borough in and the county seat of Beaver County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It is located at the confluence of the Beaver and Ohio Rivers, approximately northwest of Pittsburgh. Brighton Township is a township in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 8,829 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. History In late 2007, it was proposed that the borough of Beaver and Brighton Township combine. According to a report by the Governor's Center for Local Government Services, the two municipalities would possibly derive a significant financial benefit from uniting. John Burkett
John David Burkett (born November 28, 1964) is an American former Major League Baseball pitcher. He compiled 166 wins against 136 losses, 1,766 strikeouts, and a 4.31 earned run average. The Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) is the major sanctioning body for the sport of professional ten-pin bowling in the United States. Jerald Ingram (born December 24, 1960) is an American football coach and a former player who most recently served as the running backs coach for the New York Guardians of the XFL. He played college football at the fullback position for the University of Michigan from 1979 to 1981 and later served as the running backs coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars (1995–2003) and New York Giants (2004–2013) of the National Football League (NFL).
