Beautiful Machines
''Beautiful Machines'' (2005) is the debut album of the Pinoy rock band, Pupil. It was released on November 10, 2005 under Sony BMG, the same music company that publishes the Eraserheads' music. The band itself describes their music as "dark, loud, and romantic." It is very guitar-driven, stripped down, and the album has a very distinct sound, considering that it is the band's debut album. The album was recorded digitally at Wombworks in Marikina. “We didn't use amps at all,” says frontman Ely Buendia. The band had its official Album Launch Party on January 31, 2006 at the Mugen Bar Metrowalk. The band also mentioned in an interview with Animax, that the album was greatly influenced by sci-fi. Pupil's initial plan with ''Beautiful Machines'' album was to produce it with then-Rivermaya frontman Rico Blanco. Pupil (band)
Pupil are a Filipino rock band consisting of singer and rhythm guitarist Ely Buendia, lead guitarist Jerome Velasco, bassist Dok Sergio and drummer Wendell Garcia. History Early years and formation (2004–2005) Pupil was formed when former Teeth bassist Dok Sergio joined The Mongols' line-up in late 2004. The Mongols' bassist Yan "Yanni" Yuzon moved to third guitar duties while Sergio handled bass. Imago is a Filipino rock band composed of Kharren "Kurei" Granada (vocals), Myrene "Maps" Academia (bass), Tim Cacho (guitar), Zach Lucero (guitar) and Mervin Panganiban (drums). Kapatid (band)
Kapatid was a Filipino rock supergroup fronted by Karl Roy, the brother of Kevin Roy of Razorback. He was also the vocalist of bands Advent Call and P.O.T. Razorback (band)
Razorback is a Filipino hard rock band formed in 1990. Originally known for being regulars at the now-defunct Kalye, a club in Makati, the band has performed at full-scale concerts and opened for Silverchair, Rage Against the Machine and Metallica. Patrick Darroles Tirano, best known simply as "Pat Tirano", is a Filipino musician and, notably, an audio engineer and record producer.
