Beaumont Music
Beaumont Music is a British musical instrument accessory company, distributing worldwide and focussing on woodwind. Beaumont Music began as an instrument manufacturer and refurbisher, producing student flutes, clarinets and oboes and repairing instruments for re-sale. Founded in 2010 by Thea Paraskevaides and Tim Walker in Brighton, the company now makes accessories for musicians with an emphasis on fashion, such as flute bags, clarinet cases, saxophone straps and so on. In 2020, due to the struggles facing musicians during the COVID-19 pandemic, Beaumont Music founded the Virtual Sounds Festival, a remote music festival. Artists from around the world performed online and offered masterclasses and backstage chats, providing a source of income for musicians and entertainment for the house-bound public. Ayşedeniz Gökçin (born January 4, 1988; anglicised as "AyseDeniz Gokcin") is a Turkish classical pianist and composer. After graduating in 2009 with a bachelor's degree from Eastman School of Music, Gökçin completed a master's degree at the Royal Academy of Music in 2011. She is known for recording an EP of her arrangements for solo piano of the music of the rock band Pink Floyd in the style of Franz Liszt, ''Pink Floyd Lisztified''. The EP comprises three tracks, which, she says, form a fantasia. Derek Brown (born July 18, 1983) is an American saxophonist based out of Chicago, IL. Brown is best known for his particular style of playing, dubbed "BEATBoX SAX," which combines various extended techniques, percussive effects (e.g. stomping and beating his saxophone), and at times vocal elements. He is currently performing a tour involving visiting every US state within 12 months. Brown has released two solo albums, ''BEATBoX SAX'' (2016) and ''FiftyFifty'' (2018).
