Michel Beaudouin-Lafon (20 July 1961) is a French computer scientist working in the field of human–computer interaction. He received his PhD from the Paris-Sud 11 University (which is now Paris-Saclay University) in 1985. He is currently professor of computer science at Paris-Sud 11 University since 1992 (in the in Situ group In Situ group's website.) and was director of :fr:Laboratoire de recherche en informatique, LRI, the laboratory for computer science, from 2002 to 2009. Sophie Beaudouin-Hubière (born 20 November 1972) is a French politician of La République En Marche! (LREM) who was member of the French National Assembly from 2017 to 2022, representing Haute-Vienne's 1st constituency. Career Beaudouin-Hubière worked in HR before running for office. In parliament, Beaudouin-Hubière served on the Committee on Economic Affairs. Since 2020, she has been part of her parliamentary group's leadership under chair Christophe Castaner. In July 2019, Beaudouin-Hubière voted in favor of the French ratification of the European Union’s Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) with Canada. Beaudouin's Snake-eagle
Beaudouin's snake eagle (''Circaetus beaudouini'') is a species of snake eagle in the family Accipitridae found in the Sahel region of west Africa. It forms a superspecies with the Palearctic short-toed snake eagle ''Circaetus gallicus'' and the black-chested snake eagle ''Circaetus pectoralis''. This bird seems to be declining in numbers and the International Union for Conservation of Nature has rated it as a "vulnerable species". Description The bird has a wingspan of . A large snake eagle with grey-brown upperparts, including the head and chest, contrasting with white underparts barred with brown and white vent. It has a black bill and large, bright yellow eyes with long pale grey, unfeathered legs. Juveniles are all dark. Behaviour Normally seen on a prominent perch such as a telegraph pole or dead tree, as it is a sit-and-wait hunter, rather than in flight but generally behaviour is poorly known.
