Beau Mirchoff
William Beau Mirchoff (; born January 13, 1989) is a Canadian-American actor best known for his role in the MTV series ''Awkward'', his role as Jamie Hunter in '' Good Trouble'', and his role in ''Now Apocalypse'' on Starz. Early life Mirchoff was born in Seattle, Washington. Two days later, he moved to his family's home in Victoria, British Columbia. Career Mirchoff first got noticed for his role in the play ''Bubbly Stiltskin''. His first feature was a supporting role in ''Scary Movie 4'', playing 'Robbie Ryan'. He was a recurring character on the CBC series ''Heartland''. He also landed a lead role in ''The Grudge 3''. Mirchoff joined the cast of ''Desperate Housewives'', playing Danny Bolen between 2009 and 2010. ''Stranger with My Face'' is a young adult horror novel by Lois Duncan, first published in 1981. The novel is about Laurie Stratton, who is seen by others in places she knows she could not be. She discovers that she has an identical sister named Lia who has been visiting her town using astral projection, which involves sending her soul outside her body. Laurie learns astral projection and uses it to look for her sister. During this time, Lia's spirit takes control of Laurie's body. The story describes Laurie's struggle to take back control of her body. The novel explores themes of appearance versus true self and the idea of a double, someone similar but not quite the same as someone else.
