Beau Benzschawel
Beau Benzschawel (born September 10, 1995) is an American football guard who is a free agent. He played college football at Wisconsin and signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He has also played for the Houston Texans, Washington Football Team, and Jacksonville Jaguars. High school career Benzschawel played tight end and defensive end on the football team at Grafton High School. in addition, he played basketball and baseball. After originally committing to Syracuse, Benzschawel committed to Wisconsin on October 24, 2013. He had other offers from Iowa State, Wyoming and Bowling Green, among others. College career After redshirting the 2014 season, Benzschawel battled a knee injury before his redshirt freshman season. In gridiron football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is a player who lines up between the center (American football), center and the offensive tackle, tackles on the offensive line of a football team on the line of scrimmage used primarily for Blocking (American football), blocking.
