Cathy Drury (born 25 March 1960) is a British former professional tennis player. A right-handed player, Drury made her grand slam singles main draw debut at the 1977 Australian Open, where she was beaten in the opening round by second seeded countrywoman Sue Barker. Renata Šašak-Ružir (born 14 June 1964) is a former Yugoslavian professional tennis player. Biography Born in Zagreb, Šašak debuted for the Yugoslavia Federation Cup team in 1979. One of her Federation Cup doubles teammates was Mima Jaušovec, who Šašak teamed up with to win a gold medal at the 1979 Mediterranean Games. She won a further gold medal four years in Casablanca at the 1983 Mediterranean Games, beating Laura Golarsa to win the women's singles. Šašak competed in the main draw of both the French Open and US Open during her career. Monica Giorgi (born 3 January 1946) is an Italian former professional tennis player. Biography Born in Livorno, Giorgi twice reached the third round of the French Open during her career and played one Federation Cup tie for Italy, against Australia in the 1972 World Group quarter-finals. Giorgi was very politically active and wore an anti-apartheid shirt onto the court for the tie, which was held in South Africa, for which she was briefly banned by the Italian tennis federation. Giorgi was jailed in the early 1980s for her association with anarchist group Azione Rivoluzionaria. Authorities accused her of being involved in an attempted kidnapping, as well as attempted murder for those injured in the attempt, but she was acquitted of all these charges due to insufficient evidence.
