Beatrice Helg (born 1956) is a Swiss people, Swiss photographer. Biography Béatrice Helg was born in Geneva, Switzerland in 1956. Firstly, she studied cello at the Geneva Music Conservatory. After that she studied photography at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland as well as in Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California, Santa Barbara. She also studied photography at International Center of Photography in New York. Helg took part in the organization of ''La Fotografia in Venice 79'' photography exhibition. Helg lives and works in Geneva. Béatrice Helg is known for fusion of still life photography with geometric abstraction as well as using industrial materials. Museo Fortuny
The Museo Fortuny or Fortuny Museum is an art museum in San Marco, in central Venice, Italy. The museum is housed in the Palazzo Pesaro Orfei, now often known as Palazzo Fortuny, where Mariano Fortuny (1871–1949) had a studio in the late nineteenth century, and lived from 1902. The museum presents paintings, fabrics, and Fortuny’s lamps on the first floor, together with the history of the palazzo and its atelier on the second floor. The building still has features created by Fortuny. The working environment is represented through wall-hangings, paintings, and lamps. Fortuny died in 1949, and in 1956 the Palazzo Pesaro Orfei was gifted to the comune of Venice; the comune took full possession only in 1965, after the death of Fortuny's widow, Henriette Negrin. The Maison Européenne de la Photographie (MEP; European house of photography), located in the historic heart of Paris, is a center for contemporary photographic art opened in February 1996. Location and activities The Hotel Henault de Cantobre, which was built in 1706, houses the Maison Européenne de la Photographie and is located at n. 5, Rue de Fourcy. It belongs to the City of Paris since 1914. The city authorities asked the Yves Lion firm of architects to undertake the restoration of the original building, as well as the addition of a new wing on the Rue de Fourcy. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is an art museum located on Wilshire Boulevard in the Miracle Mile, Los Angeles, California, Miracle Mile vicinity of Los Angeles.
