Beata Heuer-Christen (born 27 February 1935) is a Swiss-German soprano concert singer and voice teacher. Life Born in Bern, Heuer-Christen is the daughter of the violinist and member of the Bern Symphony Orchestra, Caesar Christen,August Ludwig Degener, Walter Habel: ''Heuer-Christen, Beate''. In ''Wer ist Wer'', ''The German Who's Who.'' Vol. 50. Schmidt-Römhild, 2011. and Greti Christen-Schiffmann, also violinist in the Bern Symphony Orchestra and Primaria of the Schiffmann Quartet. Heuer-Christen studied singing in Bern with Maria Helbling, in Freiburg with Margarethe von Winterfeldt and in Zurich with Dorothea Ammann-Goesch. After her studies, she first worked as a classical concert singer in oratorios, Lieder recitals, radio and television recordings in various countries. Her main focus was in the field of Neue Musik. Maria Bengtsson (soprano)
Maria Bengtsson (born 7 May 1975) is a Swedish operatic soprano, who has appeared in major opera houses in Europe. She is known for roles in operas by Mozart and Richard Strauss. Career Born in Trelleborg, Sweden, Bengtsson grew up in Höllviken, taking piano lessons and singing in choirs. She studied voice from 1995 to 2000 with Beata Heuer-Christen at the Musikhochschule Freiburg. She was a member of the Wiener Volksoper from 2000. Markus Flaig (born 1971) is a German bass-baritone who has focused on concerts and recordings of sacred music. Career Markus Flaig was born in Horb am Neckar. He studied sacred music and school music, then voice with Beata Heuer-Christen in Freiburg and with Berthold Possemeyer at the Hochschule für Musik Frankfurt. Benoît Haller is a French conductor and tenor, born in Strasbourg in 1972. Biography Benoît Haller studied choral and orchestral conducting with Hans Michael Beuerle at the Hochschule für Musik in Fribourg-en-Brisgau.
