Anthony Beane (born May 6, 1994) is an American-born Indonesian professional basketball player who is currently playing for the Indonesian Patriots of the Indonesian Basketball League. College career Beane played college basketball at Southern Illinois University, with the Southern Illinois Salukis, from 2012 to 2016. William Lamar Beane III (born March 29, 1962) is an American former professional baseball player and current front office executive. He is the executive vice president of baseball operations and minority owner of the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB); he is also minority owner of Barnsley FC of the EFL League One in England and AZ Alkmaar of the Eredivisie in the Netherlands. From 1984 to 1989 he played in MLB as an outfielder for the New York Mets, Minnesota Twins, Detroit Tigers, and Oakland Athletics. Brandon Beane (born July 27, 1976) is an American football executive who is the general manager for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL), a position he has held since 2017. Prior to joining the Bills, Beane served in the personnel department of the Carolina Panthers organization from 1998-2016. Carleton E. "Carl" Beane (September 18, 1952 – May 9, 2012) was a sports radio broadcaster from 1972 until 2012, and was best known as the public address announcer for the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball. From 2003 until 2012, Beane was behind the microphone of every home game at Fenway Park, including Games 1 and 2 of the 2004 and 2007 World Series, opening each game with the words "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to Fenway Park". James Dudley Beane
Lieutenant James Dudley Beane (January 20, 1896 – October 30, 1918) was a World War I flying ace credited with six aerial victories. Biography He was born on January 20, 1896. Beane attended Concord High School. He was employed in Boston before joining the Ambulance Service. He spent a year's duty on the Verdun front, from July 1916 though July 1917. He volunteered for aviation and trained with the Lafayette Escadrille. He was then assigned to Escadrille 69. In February 1918, he took a commission with American aviation but maintained his status with Escadrille 69 for a while. He then transferred into the 22nd Aero Squadron. Between September 26 and 29 October 18, he scored six aerial victories, though he shared one with Arthur Raymond Brooks and Clinton Jones, and another with Remington Vernam. He was killed in action on October 30, 1918.
