Joseph William Beacham (April 8, 1874 – July 28, 1958) was an American football player, coach and retired United States Army brigadier general. He served as the head football coach at Cornell University in 1896 and at the United States Military Academy in 1911, compiling a career college football record of 11–4–2. A brigadier general in the United States Army, Beacham was Professor of Military Science and Tactics at Cornell University from 1927 to 1932. Braxton Beacham
Braxton Beacham (September 12, 1864 - September 24, 1924) was the eighteenth Mayor of Orlando from 1906 to 1907. He was also an Orlando businessman and entrepreneur who owned the Beacham Movie Theatre and founded "Prosper Colony" which became Taft, Florida. He married Roberta Holland on June 16, 1887. Robert Beacham
Robert Beacham (or Beauchamp) was a founding settler of Norwalk, Connecticut. He originally settled at Ipswitch, Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1648. His land in Norwalk was immediately south of the present day site of the East Norwalk Historical Cemetery, and the bridge leading south from that area was formerly called ''Beacham's Bridge''. Due to his location being in between the main area of the settlement and the area then called ''The Neck'' where cattle grazed, he served as a "gate-keeper." He left Norwalk in 1657 or 1658, and settled near Green's Farms in present-day Westport.
