Be Mbitious
''Be Mbitious'' ( ko, 비앰비셔스) is a South Korean dance survival program that premiered on Mnet on May 24, 2022. It is the first part of the male counterpart of Street Woman Fighter, and prequel to Street Man Fighter. The purpose of the show is to create a dance crew with male solo dancers to compete on Street Man Fighter. The new crew will be named Mbitious. Cast The program is presented by Rain. Krumping
Krumping is a style of street dance popularized in the United States, described as Afro-diasporic dance, characterized by free, expressive, exaggerated, and highly energetic movement. Dancers who started krumping saw the dance as a means for them to escape gang life and "to express raw emotions in a powerful but non-violent way." Dance Improvisation
Dance improvisation is the process of spontaneously creating movement. Development of movement material is facilitated through a variety of creative explorations including body mapping through levels, shape and dynamics schema. Improvisation is a free, seemingly unstructured, less technically strict and impulsive form that draws inspiration from everyday dance practices and influences. It is a movement technique that is capable of evoking dramatic and thought-provoking content just as well as more codified western dance techniques such as ballet and non-western movement forms. Waacking
Waacking (also ''whacking'', ''posing'' or ''punking'') is a form of street dance created in the LGBT clubs of Los Angeles during the 1970s disco era. The style is typically done to 70s disco music and is mainly distinguishable by its rotational arm movements, posing and emphasis on expressiveness. History In the early 1970s a dance style known as punking emerged, with "punk" being a derogatory term for gay men at the time. The term "whack" was a specific movement within the punking style which involved moving the arms over the head in a rhythmic fashion. Hotshot (band)
Hotshot (Hangul: 핫샷; stylized as HOTSHOT) was a South Korean boy band formed by Star Crew Entertainment (formerly K.O Sound and Ardor & Able). They debuted on October 29, 2014, with their digital single "Take a Shot". They disbanded on March 30, 2021. The group consisted of six-members: Choi Jun-hyuk, Kim Timoteo, Roh Tae-hyun, Ha Sung-woon, Yoonsan and Ko Ho-jung. JBJ () was a South Korean boy band consisting of six members who previously participated in Mnet's 2017 survival show ''Produce 101 Season 2''. The group was managed by Fave Entertainment, while CJ E&M oversaw the group's release production. They officially debuted on October 18, 2017. They held their final concert on April 22, 2018, and disbanded on April 30, 2018. ''Produce 101 Season 2'' () was a 2017 boy group survival reality show on Mnet, and is the second season of the original South Korean version of the franchise. The public (called 'national producers') "produces" a boy group by choosing 11 members among 101 trainees from 54 entertainment companies through online voting and live voting with multiple elimination rounds. The public also chose the group's concept, debut song and group name. In the season finale on June 16, 2017, which was broadcast live, the show announced the final 11 members who would debut as Wanna One. Breakdancing, also called breaking or b-boying/b-girling, is an athletic style of street dance originating from the African American and Puerto Rican communities in the United States.
