Darren Bazeley
Darren Shaun Bazeley (born 5 October 1972) is an English-New Zealand football coach and former player. He played as either a right full back or right-sided midfielder. He is currently head coach of the New Zealand U20 team and interim head coach of the national and Olympic sides. Playing career Watford Bazeley was born in Northampton, England, and began playing football at a young age with local team Northampton Orion. From 11 to 13 years old, Bazeley attended weekly training sessions with the School of Excellence – a coaching scheme run by the FA. It was through these sessions that Bazeley was scouted by Watford, trialling with them before signing at the age of 14. Watford's youth team coach Colin Lee was appointed the club's manager in March 1990 and he gave Bazeley his first-team debut in the final match of the 1989–90 season, bringing the 17-year-old on as a substitute against Hull City. George Bazeley
George Bazeley (born 19 January 1984, in Echuca, Victoria) is an Australian field hockey player. He plays the position of goalkeeper. Bazeley is a member of The Kookaburras, the Australia men's national field hockey team. He represents the Victorian Vikings in the Australian Hockey League domestic competition and Uttar Pradesh Wizards in the Hockey India League. He made his international debut in the Australian national team in January 2009 against the Netherlands. He won a gold medal at the 2010 FIH World Cup in Delhi, India. He won 3 consecutive gold medals at the 2009, 2010 and 2011 FIH Hockey Champions Trophy tournaments. He is a member of 2012 Summer Olympics Australian men's national squad and is trying to secure a spot on the team so he can represent Australia at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Percival Landon Bazeley was a scientist of Australian biotechnology and public health. Biography Born in Orbost, Victoria, Australia on 2 March 1909, Bazeley attended the school of Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney, graduating in 1938. During his course of study, he undertook employment at Australia's Commonwealth Serum Laboratories during vacation periods. Subsequently, he joined CSL on a full-time basis in 1939. Val Bazeley joined the Australian Army Militia in June 1939, and began full-time military service in the Australian Imperial Force on 23 May 1941. With the discovery and subsequent large-scale production of the wonder drug penicillin, a project for the production of penicillin in Australia became a high priority defence need. Geoffrey Bazeley
Geoffrey Bazeley (1906–1989) was a British Modernist architect, born in Penzance, Cornwall into a family of shipowners and traders. In 1935 he was commissioned to build Tregannick House in Cornwall and set up his own practice there. Tregannick has been described as "one of the best Modern Movement houses in the west of England." Career Bazeley studied architecture at the University of Cambridge (1926–29) and then at the Architectural Association in London (1929–32). He was known for his Modernist architecture. He was first employed as an assistant to George Grey Wornum on the RIBA building on Portland Place, London W1. In 1933 he began working for the Russian-born Modernist Serge Chermayeff (who co-designed one of Britain's most iconic 1930s buildings, the De La Warr Pavilion), acting as the principal assistant for Shrub's Wood in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire. Admiral John Bazely (March 1740 – 22 April 1809) was an experienced and highly respected officer of the British Royal Navy who served in three wars and saw numerous actions, notably during the American War of Independence. He first gained notice with the capture of the American brig USS ''Lexington'' in 1777, following which he was rapidly promoted and by 1779 was a post captain and fought in engagements under Augustus Keppel and George Rodney with some success. USS ''Bazely'' (also designated ''Tug No. 2'' and ''Beta'') was a steamer acquired by the Union Navy during the American Civil War. She was used by the Union Navy in a tugboat/patrol boat role in support of the Union Navy blockade of Confederate waterways. Service history ''J. E. Bazely''—a screw tug built in 1863 at Gloucester, New Jersey—was one of six similar vessels purchased at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, by the U.S. Navy on June 3, 1864 to support other Union warships in all the varied ways in which tugs assist larger ships.
