Baylor Law School
Baylor Law School is the oldest law school in Texas. Baylor Law School is affiliated with Baylor University and located in Waco, Texas. The school has been accredited by the American Bar Association since 1931 and has been a member of the Association of American Law Schools since 1938. The program offers training in all facets of law, including theoretical analysis, practical application, legal writing, advocacy, professional responsibility, and negotiation and counseling skills. Baylor Law School has been nationally ranked a "top-tier" law school by various publications in recent years. Tarrant County is located in the U.S. state of Texas. As of 2020, it had a population of 2,110,640. It is Texas' third-most populous county and the 15th-most populous in the United States. Tim Curry (attorney)
Timothy Cullen Curry (September 18, 1938 – April 24, 2009) was an American attorney who served as the District Attorney of Tarrant County, Texas from 1972 until his death in 2009. Curry was selected to run for District Attorney of Tarrant County after the original choice for nominee backed out just before the 1972 election. Curry was 34 years old when he took office on November 27, 1972. He was first elected as a Democrat but switched to the Republican Party in 1990, along with other Tarrant County elected officials who followed a change in the political leanings there. Curry died shortly after midnight on April 24, 2009, at the age of 70 of complications of lung cancer. Eldon Beau Boulter (born February 23, 1942) is an American politician. He served as a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives, representing the 13th district of Texas. Boulter was born in El Paso, Texas. He and his family moved to Levelland, Texas. He attended Levelland High School, graduating in 1960. Charles Barrow
Charles Wallace Barrow (22 September 1921 – 25 June 2006) was a former Justice of the Texas Supreme Court and a Dean of Baylor University Law School. Early career Barrow was born in Poteet, Texas and graduated from Baylor Law School in 1943 and joined the U.S. Navy. He served in both the Pacific and European Theaters, participating in the Normandy Landings. He left the Navy having earned seven Service stars. Barrow practiced law in San Antonio until he was recalled to active duty for the Korean War, after which he returned to his law practice. He remained in the Naval Reserve until 1976 when he retired a full Captain. Judicial career In 1959, Barrow was appointed as judge of the 45th District Court in Texas.
