Jahirsino Julio Baylón Yglesias (born 26 February 1989), commonly known as Jair Baylón, is a Peruvian footballer who plays as a forward for Sport Chavelines Juniors. He is also the son of Julio Baylón. Club career Jairzinho Baylón was born in Lima, Peru on February 26, 1989, where he started playing Football just when he started walking as a child in the streets of Lima with local school boys. His family quickly put him into Alianza Lima's youth academy where he excelled through the ranks, and after just one season he then signed for Portuguese Liga club SC Braga. SC Braga manager Jorge Costa said that the youngster is part of his plans to launch an assault on the UEFA Cup, in which Baylón will be playing for with the club. John Baylon
John Baylon (born 6 November 1965) is a Filipino judoka who has competed in the Summer Olympics and a multi-medalist in the Southeast Asian Games. Career He trained in Judo in Japan at the Kōdōkan where he obtained his Judo black belt. He competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics and the 1992 Summer Olympics. Baylon has won a total of nine gold medals in the Southeast Asian Games, first competing in the regional tournament in the 1980s. His first gold medal in the games was in the 1991 edition which was hosted in Manila. He was the flagbearer of the Philippine Southeast Asian Games delegation in 2007. In 2002, Baylon decided to take up Brazilian jiu-jitsu and obtained his black belt in the discipline from Toshiyuki Wado in 2008. He also won medals in Judo at the World Masters, and Asian Games. Oscar Baylón Chacón (1929 – August 10, 2020) was a Mexican politician, member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party and served as Senator of the Republic and Governor of Baja California. Paschal Baylón
Paschal Baylón (16 May 1540 – 17 May 1592) was a Spanish Roman Catholic lay professed religious of the Order of Friars Minor. He served as a shepherd alongside his father in his childhood and adolescence, but desired to enter the religious life. He was refused once but later was admitted as a Franciscan lay brother and became noted for his strict austerities, as well as his love for and compassion towards the sick. He was sent to counter the arguments of the Calvinists in France but was chased out and nearly killed by a mob. He was best known for his strong and deep devotion to the Eucharist. The process for his canonization opened and in 1618 he was beatified; Pope Alexander VIII canonized him a saint on 16 October 1690.
