The discography of The Bronx, a Los Angeles–based punk rock band, consists of six eponymously titled studio albums, two EPs, one DVD, eleven singles, two demos, and eleven music videos. This includes releases by the band's mariachi alter-ego Mariachi El Bronx. The Bronx formed in 2002 with an initial lineup of singer Matt Caughthran, guitarist Joby J. Ford, bassist James Tweedy, and drummer Jorma Vik. After only twelve live performances the band signed to major label Island Def Jam, but opted to put out their early releases independently. They released two demos, both titled ''Sure Death'', in 2002 on their own label, White Drugs. Their first single, "Bats!", was released in July 2003 on Tarantulas Records. Ford and Ken Horne, bass guitarist Brad Magers, and drummer Joey Castillo. Tarantulas Records was a punk rock record label established in 2002. It was generally owned by the band The Explosion and run by their manager Rama Mayo (also of the label Big Wheel Recreation) as well as other members of bands involved in the label, and some releases were distributed by The Platform Group/Fontana Distribution, Fontana. The most prominent and active bands amongst the Tarantulas (besides the Explosion) were The Distillers, The Bronx (band), The Bronx, The Static Age, and Darker My Love. "They Will Kill Us All (Without Mercy)" is a song by the Los Angeles-based punk rock band The Bronx, released as the first single from their 2003 debut album ''The Bronx''. It was their first single to chart, reaching #65 on the UK Singles Chart. While the album was released by Ferret Music and the band's own label White Drugs, the singles for all of their albums have been released exclusively in the United Kingdom, through Wichita Recordings. The single was released on both compact disc and 7-inch vinyl, the latter pressed on white vinyl and limited to 1,500 copies. Chris Bailey (musician, Born 1956)
Christopher James Mannix Bailey (29 November 1956 – 9 April 2022) was an Australian singer, songwriter, musician and producer. He was the co-founder and singer of rock band the Saints. Early life Bailey was born in Nanyuki, Colony of Kenya to Irish parents. He grew up in Belfast, Northern Ireland, until the age of seven, when his family migrated to Australia. His family settled in Inala in Brisbane, Queensland. He and his sister Margaret attended Inala State High School, Oxley State High School and Corinda State High School, where Ed Kuepper and Ivor Hay were also students. Career Bailey, Kuepper and Hay formed the band, The Saints in 1973. Their first significant success was in the UK with the classic punk anthem " (I'm) Stranded".
