Batman Incorporated (also known as Batman, Inc.) was an ongoing American comic book series published by DC Comics, featuring the superhero Batman. Written by Grant Morrison, the series debuted following the events of ''Batman R.I.P'', ''Final Crisis'', '' Batman and Robin'', and ''The Return of Bruce Wayne'' where, after being stranded in the distant past and believed dead, Bruce Wayne has returned to the present day DC Universe. Now, he is prepared to take his war on crime to the next level by essentially "franchising" it and drafting, training and commanding a global team of heroes who will answer to Batman himself, known as Batman Incorporated. In the series, one of the primary themes present is Batman traveling across the world seeking to use the symbolic power that the Batman has on a global scale. Chris Burnham
Chris Burnham is a comic book artist known for his work on ''Batman Incorporated'' with Grant Morrison, as well as the creator-owned books such as Officer Downe and ''Nixon's Pals'', which were published by Image Comics. Early life Born in Connecticut, Burnham grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he first discovered comics. He studied at George Washington University. Career In 2002 Burnham moved to Chicago, where he started to work as a graphic designer. Since then he has produced work for DC Comics, Marvel, Image, Boom! Studios and Moonstone Books. The Return Of Bruce Wayne
''Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne'' is a 6-issue American comic book limited series published by DC Comics beginning in May to November 2010, written by Grant Morrison and featuring a team of rotating artists starting with Chris Sprouse and Frazer Irving. The series picks up from ''Final Crisis'' #6. The series detailed the journey Bruce Wayne takes through the timestream of the DC Universe after being deposited in the distant past by Darkseid in ''Final Crisis''. Wayne has to overcome amnesia and "history itself" in order to make his way back to present-day Gotham City and retake his rightful place as Batman. The series ran for six issues, each covering a different time period.
