Bathurst 250
The Bathurst 250 was an annual motor racing event, held for the Super2 Series at the Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia. The race supported the Bathurst 1000 which the Supercars Championship (parent series) has run since 1963. The event, which was in later years part of the championship season, was a single-race event, held over an endurance distance of 250 kilometres (160 miles), and allowing for optional driver changes - a first for the series. In 2020, the event was replaced by a multi-race sprint round, as had previously been run for the category between 2005 and 2013. Background The second-tier series to the Supercars Championship launched as V8 Lites in 2000, before later becoming known as the Super2 Series. Thomas Randle
Thomas Randle (born 7 April 1996) is an Australian racing driver. He currently races in the Supercars Championship for Tickford Racing in the No. 55 Ford Mustang GT. Randle has also won the 2014 Australian Formula Ford Series, 2017 Toyota Racing Series and 2020 Super2 Series. In 2018, he was awarded the Mike Kable Young Gun Award and in 2020, The BRDC Innes Ireland Trophy. Chris Pither (born 3 December 1986) is a New Zealand professional racing driver, currently competing in the Supercars Championship driving the No. 22 Holden ZB Commodore for PremiAir Racing. Pither has won eight national championships including; three New Zealand karting titles, the New Zealand Holden HQ Series in 2003 and 2004, the NZ V8 Ute Championship Series in 2010 as well as the NZ and Australian V8 Ute Racing Series in 2011. MW Motorsport (formerly known as Matthew White Racing) is a motor-racing team that is competing in the Dunlop Super2 Series. The team currently races with Nissan Altimas, with Thomas Maxwell, Angelo Mouzouris, Tyler Everingham and Declan Fraser. The team was formed by Matthew White in 2000 to further his own racing ambitions. Dean Fiore (born 1 December 1983) is an Australian professional racing driver. Fiore competed in the 2022 Bathurst 1000 for Brad Jones Racing as a co-driver alongside Bryce Fullwood in the No. 14 Holden Commodore (ZB). Racing career Fiore is one of three racing brothers, along with Todd and Paul. The 2017 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 was a motor racing event for the Supercars Championship, held from October 5 to 8 2017 at the Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, and consisted of a 1000 kilometre race. It was the eleventh event of fourteen in the 2017 Supercars Championship and was Race 20 of the season. It was also the second event of the 2017 Enduro Cup. Garry Jacobson (born 28 February 1992 in Shepparton, Australia) is an Australian motor racing driver. He previously competed in the Supercars Championship, driving the No. 76 Holden ZB Commodore for PremiAir Racing. Jacobson won the 2016 Supercars Dunlop Series with Prodrive Racing Australia in a Ford FG X Falcon. Jacobson entered the Supercars Championship full time in 2019, with Kelly Racing.
