Batangafo
Batangafo is a town located in the Central African Republic prefecture of Ouham at the confluence of Ouham River and its affluent Fafa. There is an airport in Bafangafo. History In August 2014 heavy clashes erupted in Batangafo between Séléka and Sangaris forces resulting in more than 50 deaths. Ouham River
The Ouham River is a river in Central Africa, and one of the main headwaters of the Chari River. The Ouham originates in the Central African Republic between the prefecture Nana-Mambéré and the prefecture Ouham-Pendé, crossing into Chad where it joins the Chari about 25 km north Sarh. Tributaries are Baba, Fafa, Nana Bakassa, Nana Barya. Hydrometry The flow of the river observed over 33 years (1951–84) in Moïssala a town in Chad about 150 km above the mouth of the Chari. Ouham
Ouham is one of the 16 prefectures of the Central African Republic. Its capital is Bossangoa. Geography The prefecture is in the north-west of the Central African Republic. Transport In The Central African Republic
Modes of transport in the Central African Republic include road, water, and air. Most the country is connected to the road network, but not all of it. Some roads in the country do not connect to the rest of the national road network and may become impassable, especially during heavy monsoon rain. Many remote areas that not connected to the country's road network, especially in the eastern part of the country outside of the major cities and towns, can only be reached by light aircraft, boat (via river) or on foot. Most roads are unpaved, and which centres on the ''routes nationales'' identified as RN1 to RN11. Bangui serves as a seaport, and 900 km of inland waterways are navigable, the main route being the Oubangui river. There is one international airport at Bangui-Mpoko, two other paved airports, and over 40 with unpaved runways. Railways There are presently no railways in the Central African Republic.
