Bastila
The video games '' Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic'' (2003) and '' Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords'' (2004) features a large cast of characters noted for its diversity and is the subject of significant discussion from gaming magazines and websites. The main and player character of the first game is Revan, and the main and player character of the second game is the Jedi Exile. Both can be either a human male or a human female. Various other characters join the player's party and become controllable, with a maximum of three characters at a time. Concept and creation Chris Avellone, the lead designer of ''The Sith Lords'', has said that "a core part of what made KOTOR I so great was the story and your companions, and that was our intention in the sequel as well", and has also said that he thought that the characters and voice-acting were some of the key strengths of ''The Sith Lords'', and said that they got a lot of help and support from LucasArt ...

Bastila Shan
Bastila Shan is a fictional character and party member in the 2003 action role-playing video game '' Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic'', developed by BioWare and published by LucasArts. Bastila is a member of the Jedi Order, and plays a key role in the war between the Jedi-backed Galactic Republic, and Sith Forces led by the Sith Lords Darth Revan and Darth Malak, both of whom were originally Jedi. Bastila would eventually succeed in a desperate plan to defeat and incapacitate Revan, with the goal of molding the Sith Lord back into the light side of the Force. Towards the end of the game, Bastila falls to the dark side of the Force and sides with Darth Malak as his new Sith apprentice, though her final fate is ultimately decided by the player as Revan, who is revealed to be the story's amnesiac protagonist all along in a plot twist midway through the game's narrative. Bastila Shan was voiced by Jennifer Hale, with her casting being considered one of the most important among ...

Revan
Darth Revan, later known simply as Revan, is the player character of the 2003 role-playing video game '' Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic'' and its upcoming remake by BioWare. A former veteran Jedi knight who lived during the Old Republic Era — approx. 4,000 years before the Skywalker Saga — the Sith Lord Revan forms a Sith Empire to conquer the galaxy, contending with the Republic's armies, only to be betrayed and left for dead by Darth Malak, and subsequently captured by the Jedi, who erase Revan's memories and replace them with a false identity, as part of the Jedi's plan to have Revan rejoin their ranks and help defeat Malak and his Empire. Revan's true identity isn't revealed to the player until later in the game, prior to which their custom character lacks any predefined identity and "Darth Revan" is believed to be dead, returning to villainy or remaining a hero depending upon players' choices and actions. Revan's gender, class, and facial appearance are chosen ...

Jedi Council
Jedi (), Jedi Knights, or collectively the Jedi Order are the main heroic protagonists of many works of the '' Star Wars'' franchise. Working symbiotically alongside the Old Galactic Republic, and later supporting the Rebel Alliance, the Jedi Order is depicted as a monastic, academic, military, and meritocratic peacekeeping organization whose origin dates back thousands of years before the events of the first film released in the franchise. The fictional organization has inspired a real-world new religious movement and parody religion: Jediism. Within the fictional ''Star Wars'' galaxy, the Jedi are powerful guardians of order and justice, who, through intuition, rigorous training, and intensive self-discipline, are able to wield a supernatural power known as the Force, thus achieving for example the ability to move objects with the mind, perform incredible feats of strength, and connect to certain people's thoughts. As ''Star Wars'' creator George Lucas explains, the Je ...
