Alexandra Louise Bastian (born 27 February 1982) is an English actress, known for her roles as Becca Dean in the Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', Sally Armstrong in the ITV drama series ''The Bill'' and Becky Clarke in the BBC soap opera ''Doctors''. Adolf Philipp Wilhelm Bastian (26 June 18262 February 1905) was a 19th-century polymath best remembered for his contributions to the development of ethnography and the development of anthropology as a discipline. He co-founded the WordPerfect Software Company with Alan Ashton (executive), Alan Ashton in 1978 (originally known as Satellite Software International and then changed to WordPerfect Corporation in 1982). Gert Bastian (26 March 1923 – presumably 1 October 1992) was a German military officer and politician with the German Green Party. Biography Born in Munich, Bastian volunteered for the Wehrmacht in 1941, at the age of nineteen. In World War II he served on the Eastern Front being wounded by a bullet in the right arm and in the head by a grenade fragment. He was also hit by American machine gun fire in France. After the war he started a business which failed and he rejoined the military. Ogustus or Martalanus Bastiansz, better known as 'Wally Bastiansz'' ( Sinhala: වොලී බැස්ටියන්ස්) (died January 10, 1985) was a Sri Lankan singer who developed the style of chorus baila in the 1940s.
