Bright Okpocha (born 14 September 1978 in Lagos State), better known by his stage name Basketmouth, is a Nigerian comedian and actor. He has organized popular stand-up comedy concerts like ''Basketmouth Uncensored'' across the globe. Basketmouth hosted a comedy challenge on Instagram, called the #TwoThingsChallenge which sparked an uproar from fans, after a young fan posted a video of him saying obscene things relating to sex, with a child in close view in the video. He was a producer of "''Ghana Jollof''". Biography Early life Bright Okpocha was born in Lagos State but hails from Abia State, Nigeria. He completed his primary and secondary school in Apapa, Lagos and moved on to the University of Benin, Edo State to study for a degree in Sociology and Anthropology. Yabasi is the official Soundtrack album of the web-series " Papa Benji" by Basketmouth. It was released on 19 November 2020. Background The 10-track album has a running time of 30 minutes and features Duncan Mighty, Umu Obiligbo, Ice Prince, Oxlade, Show Dem Camp, Waje, Ladipoe, Flash, BOJ, Chike, Zoro, Play, Umu Obiligbo, Ceeza Milli, Flavour, Phyno, The Cavemen, Bez, Dice Ailes, Peruzzi and Ill Bliss. The 10 tracks were produced by Duktor Sett, and was Mixed & Mastered by Tee Y Mix. Papa Benji
Papa Benji is a comedy web series that follows the life of its eponymous character, Papa Benji, a pepper soup joint owner and everyone surrounding him. Plot Papa Benji is a story about the Egwuowun family, their pepper soup joint and their son Benjamin. Peter Egwuowun owns one of the best Pepper Soup joint in the 60s and no one knew his recipes except for Benjamin his son. Benjamin had dreams to become a banker and invest in his father's Pepper Soup business but his dreams were cut short when his parents died in an accident and his uncle ran the business down, and he wasn't able to further his education. He later became the Head of security in a bank when he grew up and on his 45th birthday celebration, he prepared pepper soup with his father's recipes for his colleagues and everyone was blown away asking for more, including the bank manager. Highlife is a music genre that started in present-day Ghana in the 19th century, during its Gold Coast (British colony), history as a colony of the British Empire and through its trade routes in coastal areas.
