Bashley Football Club is a football club based in Bashley, near New Milton, Hampshire, England. They are currently members of the and play at Bashley Road. History The club was established in 1947. They joined the Bournemouth League in 1950, where the club remained until moving up to Division Three of the Hampshire League in 1983. The club were Division Three champions in 1984–85, earning promotion to Division Two. When the Wessex League was formed in 1986, Bashley were founder members and its inaugural champions in 1986–87. The club won the league again the following season, also reaching the semi-finals of the FA Vase, where they lost 2–1 on aggregate to Emley, with the attendance of 3,500 for the home leg remaining a club record. Bashley, Hampshire
Bashley is a chapelry in the New Forest (in the south west of Hampshire) England. It takes up the north of New Milton civil parish of a type having a town council, and is a semi-rural community in New Forest District, to which it contributes about a quarter of the population of the ward of the same name. Bashley begins inland from the Solent. Most of its modest population is in its holiday park which has a chain-based convenience shop. Bashley has two garden centres, both football and cricket clubs, a few guesthouses, two riding schools/centres, a post office/store and a petrol station. The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. Eligibility rules have changed over time, but from 2008 onwards the competition has been open to clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system. The 2021–22 Southern Football League season is the 119th in the history of the Southern League since its establishment in 1894. The league has two Premier divisions (Central and South) at Step 3 of the National League System (NLS) and two Division One divisions (Central and South) at Step 4. The 2015–16 season was the 113th in the history of the Southern League, which is an English football competition featuring semi-professional and amateur clubs from the South West, South Central and Midlands of England and South Wales. From the 2014–15 season onwards, the Southern League is known as Evo-Stik League Southern, following a sponsorship deal with Evo-Stik. The league constitution was announced on 15 May 2015.
