Bashir Mohamed Jama
Bashir Mohamed Jama "Goobe" ( so, Bashiir Maxamed Jama Keynan, ar, بشير محمد جامع) is a politician and former Somali Armed Forces officer. He is currently the Director-General of the Somali Agency for Construction and Development. He served twice as the Chief of the Somali Custodial Corps and also served as the Director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency from 2013 to 2014. He received the highest rank of Lieutenant General and served as the only Lieutenant General since the former Prime Minister Mohamed Ali Samatar retired in 1991. Career Jama hails from one of the country's ethnic minority groups (Reer Kuulbeer). He served in Somali Police since 1975 until 1991, and from 2000 until 2013. Hassan Ali Khaire (or alternatively transliterated as Hassan Ali Khayre, so, Xasan Cali Khayre, ar, حسن علي خيري; born 1967), popularly known as Hassan Khaire, is a Somali activist and politician and is the former Prime Minister of Somalia. He was appointed on 23 February 2017 by Somalia President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed "Farmaajo" and resigned on Saturday July 25th 2020 after MPs passed a disputed vote of no confidence. Abdullahi Mohamed Ali "Sanbalolshe" ( so, Cabdulaahi Maxamed Cali, ar, عبد الله محمد علي) is a Somali politician. He subsequently briefly served as the director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency in 2014, In April 2017, Ali was reappointed as the director of NISA. 7 months later he was fired by Somali president Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo. Somali Armed Forces
The Somali Armed Forces are the military forces of the Federal Republic of Somalia. Headed by the president as commander-in-chief, they are constitutionally mandated to ensure the nation's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity. Chapter 14, Article 126(3). The SAF was initially made up of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Police Force. In the post-independence period, it grew to become among the larger militaries in Africa.
