Bas De Leede
Bastiaan Franciscus Wilhelmus de Leede (born 15 November 1999) is a Dutch cricketer. His father, Tim de Leede, played in 29 One Day Internationals (ODIs) for the Netherlands. Career He made his List A debut for Royal Netherlands Cricket Board XI (KNCB XI) during the Netherlands tour of Zimbabwe on 29 September 2017. He made his first-class debut for the Netherlands against Namibia in the 2015–17 ICC Intercontinental Cup on 29 November 2017. In February 2018, he was added to the Netherlands squad for the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier, after Stephan Myburgh was ruled out of the tournament due to an injury. In June 2018, he was named in the Netherlands' Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the 2018 Netherlands Tri-Nation Series. Nootdorp
Nootdorp () is a small town in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is bordered by Zoetermeer to the north, by The Hague (specifically Leidschenveen-Ypenburg) to the west, by Delfgauw to the south and by Pijnacker to the east. Netherlands National Cricket Team
The Netherlands national cricket team (Dutch: Nederlandse cricket team) is the men's team that represents the Kingdom of the Netherlands and is administered by the Royal Dutch Cricket Association. Cricket has been played in the Netherlands since at least the 19th century, and in the 1860s was considered a major sport in the country. 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup
The 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup was the seventh ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament, with the matches played in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from 17 October to 14 November 2021. The West Indies were the defending champions, but were eventually eliminated in the Super 12 stage. Originally the event was scheduled to be held in Australia from 18 October to 15 November 2020, but in July 2020, the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed that this tournament had been postponed, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In August 2020, the ICC confirmed that India would host the 2021 tournament as planned, with Australia being named as the host for the succeeding 2022 tournament. The Euro T20 Slam is a planned professional Twenty20 cricket league. The first edition of the tournament was initially scheduled to start in August 2019, with matches to be held in Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands. It's launch has been postponed on several occasions due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. History In March 2019, Cricket Scotland, Cricket Ireland and Royal Dutch Cricket Association officially announced the Euro T20 Slam. The Nepal national cricket team ( ne, नेपाल राष्ट्रिय क्रिकेट टीम) nicknamed The Rhinos and Gorkhalis, represents the country of Nepal in International cricket and is governed by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN). They have been an Associate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1996. Nepalese Cricket Team In The Netherlands In 2018
The Nepalese cricket team toured the Netherlands in August 2018 to play two One Day Internationals (ODIs) matches against the Dutch cricket team. They were the first ODI matches to be played by Nepal since they were awarded ODI status by the International Cricket Council (ICC) during the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier. It was the first ODI series to be played in the Netherlands since 2013, when South Africa played a one-off match, and the first ODI matches to be played by the Netherlands since the 2014 Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament. In July 2018, the Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Bond (KNCB) confirmed the venues for the two matches. 2018 Netherlands Tri-Nation Series
The 2018 Netherlands Tri-Nation Series was a cricket tournament, that took place in June 2018 in the Netherlands. It was a tri-nation series between Ireland, Netherlands and Scotland, with all the matches played as Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). The intention is that the tri-series will become an annual event between the three teams. Prior to the series, Scotland played two T20I matches against Pakistan, while Ireland used the matches as preparation for their matches against India, that took place later in June. Ahead of the series, Ireland named Gary Wilson as their new T20I captain, after William Porterfield stepped aside to focus on Test and One Day International (ODI) cricket. Stephan Myburgh
Stephanus Johannes Myburgh (born 28 February 1984) is a Dutch-South African cricketer who has played at One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) level for the Dutch national side. He is a left-handed batsman and right-arm offbreak bowler. International career During the 2014 ICC World Twenty20, Myburgh showcased what he can do in each match that Dutch played. On 21 March 2014 against Ireland, Myburgh equalled the record of the second-fastest fifty in Twenty20 International with Paul Stirling of Ireland. He scored the fifty with 17 balls, where Dutch required to win the game in 14 overs to qualify for the Super 10 stage.
