Jandol (also called Jandool or Jandul) was a minor Pashtun princely state at the time of the British Raj. It was established circa 1830, with its capital at Barwa (modern Samarbagh). Barwa is a village in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district of Punjab State, India. It is situated on Mehandpur-Bhagoran road and located away from postal head office Langroya, from Balachaur, from district headquarter Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar and from state capital Chandigarh. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village.
