Barton Town Old Boys F.C.
Barton Town Football Club is a football club based in Barton-upon-Humber, Lincolnshire, England. They are currently members of the Northern Counties East League Premier Division and play at Marsh Lane. History The club was formed as Barton Town Old Boys Football Club in 1995 as a result of a merger between Barton Town and Barton Old Boys, with the new club taking Barton Town's place in the Lincolnshire League. After finishing fourth in the league in their first season, they won the Lincolnshire League the following season, and then finished as runners-up in both 1997–98 and 1998–99. In 2000 the club switched to the Humber Premier League, where they played for a single season before joining the Premier Division of the Central Midlands League. After finishing as runners-up in 2001–02, they were promoted to the Supreme Division. Nathan Jarman
Nathan George Jarman (born 19 September 1986) is an English professional footballer who is the player/manager of Barton Town. He played in the Football League for Barnsley, Bury and Grimsby Town, later playing in non-league football for Worksop Town, Corby Town, Alfreton Town, Chester, North Ferriby United, Gainsborough Trinity and Lincoln United. Career Barnsley Born in Scunthorpe, Jarman came through the youth ranks with Barnsley. He made his debut on 20 November 2004 against Oldham Athletic. The Football Association Challenge Vase, usually referred to as the FA Vase, is an annual football competition for teams playing in Steps 5 and 6 of the English National League System (or equivalently, tier 9 or 10 of the overall English football league system). For the 2017–18 season 619 entrants were accepted, with two qualifying rounds preceding the six proper rounds, semi-finals (played over two legs) and final to be played at Wembley Stadium. Barton-upon-Humber () or Barton is a town and civil parish in North Lincolnshire, England. The population at the 2011 census was 11,066. It is situated on the south bank of the Humber Estuary at the southern end of the Humber Bridge. It is south-west of Kingston upon Hull and north north-east of the county town of Lincoln. Humber Premier League
The Humber Premier League is a football competition for clubs in the East Riding of Yorkshire and north Lincolnshire areas of England. History The league was formed in 2000. Reckitts won the league five times in the first six seasons of its existence. The league started with one division in 2000 but has since grown and now has two divisions, the Premier Division and Division One--the latter inaugurated for the 2005-06 season. The Premier Division sits at the 11th tier of the English football league system, and feeds the Northern Counties East League.
