Kyle Louis Bartley (born 22 May 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays as a central defender for club West Bromwich Albion. Bartley started his career with Arsenal, making his debut in 2009. He spent some of the 2009 season and the first half of the 2010 season with Sheffield United in the Football League Championship. He then spent the second half of the 2010 season with Scottish Premier League club Rangers and returned to them for the 2011–12 campaign. He signed for Swansea City in 2012, and spent the first half of the 2013–14 season on loan to Championship club Birmingham City and the whole of the 2016–17 campaign on loan at Leeds United. Beginning as a builder, Bartley transitioned into a career as an architect, not an uncommon occurrence in the 19th century. Frank Bartley IV (born February 25, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for Pallacanestro Trieste of the Italia Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). He played college basketball for the BYU Cougars and the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. Early life and high school Bartley was born and grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and attended Christian Life Academy, where he played basketball and football. George Bartley (1782?–1858) was an English stage comedian. He was successful in playing comic old men and bluff uncles, and Falstaff became his favourite character. He had roles in many Shakespearean Comedies throughout his career spanning over half a century. Early life Bartley was born in Bath, Somerset presumably in or about 1782. His father was box-keeper at the Bath Theatre. While still a youth he acquired some stage experience, appearing in characters ordinarily assigned to women, such as the page in John Cartwright Cross's musical drama, ''The Purse''. After a period of odd jobs, Bartley appeared at Cheltenham in the summer of 1800 as Orlando in ''As You Like It''. He is said to have appeared again in Bath, and then joined a travelling company. Geoff Bartley (born 1948) is an American acoustic guitarist and singer-songwriter whose musical style combines roots, blues, jazz, and traditional folk. He lives in the Boston area, where he can be found at The Can Tab Lounge in Cambridge, Massachusetts every Monday night, hosting a singer-songwriter open mic, and every Tuesday night presenting bluegrass performances and jams. Les Bartley (March 11, 1954 – May 15, 2005) was a Canadian lacrosse coach. Bartley led the Buffalo Bandits to three of their four championships in the Major Indoor Lacrosse League (MILL), and won four more championships with the Toronto Rock in the renamed National Lacrosse League (NLL). Mordecai Bartley (December 16, 1783 – October 10, 1870) was a Whig politician from northeastern Ohio. He served as the 18th governor of Ohio. Bartley succeeded his son, Thomas W. Bartley as governor, one of few instances of this happening in the United States in high offices. Biography Bartley was born in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. After attending the local school in Virginia, he married Elizabeth Welles in 1804 and moved to Jefferson County, Ohio. Bartley served as a captain, and then an adjutant during the War of 1812.
