Barry Turner (born 4 October 1937) is a British writer, editor and former journalist. Career Turner started his career as a teacher before turning to journalism with ''The Observer'' and making many appearances on radio and television.Discover Author: Barry Turner Harper Collins Publishers. Retrieved 16 June 2016. His first book, a study of British politics in the early Twentieth Century, was published in 1970. ''The Statesman's Yearbook'' is a one-volume reference book published annually since 1864 providing information on the countries of the world. It is published by Palgrave Macmillan.
