Barry O'Connell
Barry O'Connell (Paddington, Sydney), is an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1950s 1960s. He played in the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) - Australia's major competition in that sport. Biography Barry was one of three O'Connell brothers to play for the Eastern Suburbs club in the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL), older brother Wally captained Australia in that sport. O'Connell attended Waverley primary and Paddington technical college. O'Connell, who played in the halves, was an Easts junior who debuted with the club in the 1956 at the age of 19. In the years 1956–59, he scored 177 points from 11 tries and 72 field goal, he made around 60 appearances for the Eastern Suburbs club, many as captain. In 1960, Barry joined the Manly Warrigah club, playing 85 matches, many of those also as captain. He played for Manly in the years 1960–64. Sydney Roosters
The Sydney Roosters are an Australian professional Rugby league, Rugby League Football Club based in the Eastern Suburbs (Sydney) and parts of inner Sydney. The club competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. The Roosters have won fifteen New South Wales Rugby League premiership, New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) and National Rugby League titles, and several other competitions. First founded as the Eastern Suburbs District Rugby League Football Club (ESDRLFC), it is the only club to have played in each and every season at the elite level, and since the 1970s has often been dubbed the glamour club of the league. Mudgee
Mudgee is a town in the Central West (New South Wales), Central West of New South Wales, Australia. Dunedoo ( ) is a village of 1,021 inhabitants situated within the Warrumbungle Shire of central western New South Wales, Australia. Dunedoo is well known to Australian travellers due to its distinctive name (''Dunny'' is a colloquial Australian word for a toilet). The name is actually derived from a local Aboriginal word meaning "swan", which are commonly found in the area's lagoons. The town is located on the north-western edges of the Sydney basin. Manly Sea Eagles
The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Sydney's Northern Beaches. The team colours are maroon and white, while their namesake and logo is the sea eagle. They compete in Australia's premier rugby league competition, the National Rugby League (NRL). The club debuted in the 1947 New South Wales Rugby Football League season and currently host the majority of their home games from Brookvale Oval in Brookvale, while training at the New South Wales Academy of Sport in Narrabeen.
