Tucker Jackson Barnhart (born January 7, 1991) is an American professional baseball catcher for the Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Cincinnati Reds and Detroit Tigers. He made his MLB debut in 2014 and won the Gold Glove Award in 2017 and 2020. Early life Barnhart was born in Indianapolis, the son of Kevin and Pam Barnhart, and brother to Paige. When Tucker was 11, the family moved west of Indianapolis to Brownsburg, Indiana. Phyllis Barnhart (December 16, 1922 – February 6, 2008) was an American animator and cel painter. She was best known for her work on the 1982 animated film, ''The Secret of NIMH'' (which was her only credit in an animated film, coincidentally enough). Naomi Phyllis Fowler was born on December 16, 1922, in Levan, Utah. She began her career in animation at the Disney studio during the 1940s, starting on the films '' Fun & Fancy Free'' and ''Melody Time'', at the inking and painting department. Mitch Barnhart (born August 27, 1959) is the athletics director for the Kentucky Wildcats athletics program at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. Barnhart was hired by the university in 2002 succeeding Larry Ivy. Barnhart served in the same capacity at Oregon State University from 1998 to 2002. He is the university's tenth athletics director.
