Barend Biesheuvel
Barend Willem Biesheuvel (; 5 April 1920 – 29 April 2001) was a Dutch politician of the defunct Anti-Revolutionary Party (ARP) now the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) party and jurist who served as Prime Minister of the Netherlands from 6 July 1971 until 11 May 1973. Biesheuvel studied law at the Free University Amsterdam obtaining a Master of Laws degree and worked as a civil servant for the Provincial-executive of North Holland from September 1945 until January 1952 and as trade association executive for the Christian Farmers and Gardeners Association (CBTB) from January 1952 until July 1959 and as chairman from August 1956. Barent Philip Staats (born September 25, 1796) was the mayor of Albany, New York. Staats ran as a Democrat and defeated John Townsend ( Whig) by 336 votes in 1842. The next year he doesn't run for reelection, and Friend Humphrey (Whig) defeated Peter Gansevoort by 226 votes. During the 57th New York State Legislature from January 1 – December 31, 1834 he was a Jacksonian Assemblyman. He was a doctor. Philip S. Barend van Someren (1572–1632) was a Flemish painter and printmaker who after training and working in Antwerp, worked a few years in Rome and finally took up residence in Amsterdam in the Dutch Republic. Barend Mons (born 1957, The Hague) is a molecular biologist by training and a leading FAIR data specialist. The first decade of his scientific career he spent on fundamental research on malaria parasites and later on translational research for malaria vaccines. In the year 2000 he switched to advanced data stewardship and (biological) systems analytics. Barent Gardenier (July 28, 1776 – January 10, 1822) was an American lawyer and politician from New York. He was a United States representative from 1807 to 1811. Biography Barent Gardenier was born in Kinderhook, New York on July 28, 1776. He received a liberal education, studied law at Litchfield Law School and was admitted to the bar. In November 1801 he married Sally (Sarah) Lawrence. Gardenier practiced in Kingston, New York and was also editor and publisher of a Federalist newspaper, the ''New York Courier''. He was elected as a Federalist to the 10th and 11th United States Congresses, and served from March 4, 1807, to March 3, 1811.
