Bardoli Lok Sabha Constituency
Bardoli Lok Sabha constituency ( gu, બારડોલી લોકસભા મતવિસ્તાર) is in Gujarat, a state in western India. This constituency was created in 2008 as a part of the implementation of delimitation of parliamentary constituencies. The seat is reserved for Scheduled Tribes. It first held elections in 2009 and its first member of parliament (MP) was Tushar Amarsinh Chaudhary of the Indian National Congress. As of the latest elections in 2014, Parbhubhai Vasava of the Bharatiya Janata Party represents this constituency. The State Legislative Assembly, or Vidhan Sabha, or also Saasana Sabha, is a legislative body in the states and union territories of India. In the 28 states and 3 union territories with a unicameral state legislature, it is the sole legislative body and in 6 states it is the lower house of their bicameral state legislatures with the upper house being State Legislative Council. 5 union territories are governed directly by the Union Government of India and have no legislative body. General elections were held in India in seven phases from 11 April to 19 May 2019 to elect the members of the 17th Lok Sabha. Votes were counted and the result was declared on 23 May. 2014 Indian General Election
General elections were held in India in nine phases from 7 April to 12 May 2014 to elect the members of the 16th Lok Sabha. With 834 million registered voters, they were the largest-ever elections in the world until being surpassed by the 2019 Indian general election, 2019 elections.
