Bardeux
Bardeux is an American dance duo from the 1980s. The group was formed in 1986 and consisted of Stacy "Acacia" Smith and Tairrie B. History Their first single, "Three Time Lover", went to No. 10 on ''Billboard'''s Hot Dance Singles Sales chart. Tairrie B left the group to pursue a solo career and was replaced by Lisa "Jaz" Teaney. In 1988, the group released their album '' Bold as Love'' and their second single "Magic Carpet Ride". The single went to No. 5 on ''Billboard'''s Hot Dance Singles Sales chart and No. 81 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. The group performed the song on Club MTV. "When We Kiss", the third single from the album, would turn out to be the group's biggest hit going all the way to No. 36 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. The fourth single released from the album, "Bleeding Heart", was a top 40 hit on the ''Billboard'''s Hot Dance Singles Sales chart. Tairrie B
Theresa Beth (born January 18, 1965), known professionally as Tairrie B, is an American singer and rapper. Career She started her music career as part of the female dance group Bardeux. After the release of their debut single, "Three-Time Lover", in 1987, she left the group. Under the tutelage of Eazy-E, she was later signed to his label Ruthless Records (under a new imprint called Comptown Records) and released her first album, ''Power of a Woman (Tairrie B album), Power of a Woman'', which, unlike usual Ruthless fare, was distributed by MCA Records. Tura Satana (band)
Tura Satana was an American metal band named after cult actress Tura Satana. The band started in the early 1990s under the name Manhole. Due to legal reasons they changed it after the release of their first album '' All Is Not Well''. While the music was brutal and powerful, the lyrics of the first album were strongly influenced by singer Tairrie B's hardships as a woman having dealt with a dysfunctional family and violence. Their second (and final) offering was the religious influenced ''Relief Through Release''.
