Barbara Edith Eileen Wilshere (born 7 December 1959) is a South African-born British actress who has appeared in theatre, films and television. Early life She attended Wilmslow County Grammar School for Girls. Career She was the guest lead in the fourth episode of '' Sherlock Holmes'' ("The Solitary Cyclist"), and was a regular cast member in ''Albion Market'' (Carol Broadbent), ''The Paradise Club'' (Carol Kane), '' Between the Lines'' (Kate Roberts) and '' The Lakes'' (Dr. Sarah Kilbride). Wilmslow High School is a mixed-sex 11–18 comprehensive secondary school in Wilmslow, Cheshire, England. The school began in 1960 as a grammar school and gradually became a comprehensive school, becoming Wilmslow High School in 1991. History Grammar school Wilmslow High School began life as the co-educational Wilmslow County Grammar School in September 1960 with 900 pupils. ''Judge John Deed'' is a British legal drama television series produced by the BBC in association with One-Eyed Dog for BBC One. It was created by G.F. Newman and stars Martin Shaw as Mr Justice Deed, a High Court of Justice, High Court judge who tries to seek real justice in the cases before him. It also stars Jenny Seagrove as the barrister Jo Mills Queen's Counsel, QC, frequently the object of Deed's desire. Peter Seamus O'Toole (; 2 August 1932 – 14 December 2013) was a British stage and film actor. He attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and began working in the theatre, gaining recognition as a Shakespearean actor at the Bristol Old Vic and with the English Stage Company. ''Peak Practice'' is a British drama series about a GP surgery in Cardale—a small fictional town in the Derbyshire Peak District—and the doctors who worked there. It ran on ITV from 10 May 1993 to 30 January 2002 and was one of their most successful series at the time. It originally starred Kevin Whately as Dr Jack Kerruish, Amanda Burton as Dr Beth Glover and Simon Shepherd as Dr Will Preston, though the roster of doctors would change many times over the course of the series.
