Bara River
Bara River ( ps, باړه سیند; ur, دریائے باڑہ ) is a river in Khyber Agency and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The Bara River originates in the Tirah Valley of Bara Tehsil, Khyber Agency. It joins the Kabul River Canal which originates from the Warsak Dam, and re-enters Peshawar. Then it flows in the North-easterly direction to the Nowshera District, eventually joining the Kabul River near Camp Koruna, Akbarpura. Due to its higher elevation, very limited areas flow through gravity into Bara river. Bara, Syria
Bara or al-Bara ( ar, بارة) is one of the former "Dead Cities" in northwestern Syria. It is located in the Zawiya Mountain approximately north from Hama and approx. 80 km southwest from Aleppo. Hörsne-Bara is a populated area, a ''socken'' (not to be confused with parish), on the Swedish island of Gotland. Formerly two ''sockens'', Hörsne () and Bara, Bara was merged with Hörsne under the name Hörsne ''socken'' or Hörsne with Bara ''socken''. It comprises the same area as the administrative Hörsne-Bara District, established on 1January 2016. Geography Hörsne, or Hörsne with Bara, is the name of the ''socken'' as well as the district. Hörsne is also the name of the small village surrounding the medieval Hörsne Church, sometimes referred to as ''Hörsne kyrkby''. It is situated in the central part of Gotland. At the merging of the sockens and parishes, Hörsne Church was kept, while Bara Church was abandoned. Bara is a locality situated in Svedala Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 3,444 inhabitants in 2010. Bara is approximately 12 km east of central Malmö. History North of Bara (area called Bara Kyrka) lies Bara church and in 1964, the construction of modern Bara started south of the church. Originally Bara was its own municipality but in 1977 it became a part of Svedala Municipality.
